Herbal Medicine for Your Health and Well-Being

Can you benefit from herbal medicine?

Anyone can use herbal medicine- adults, children, the elderly, pregnant and breastfeeding women, the chronically ill, those on medications.   With appropriate precautions in place, herbs can be used safely as a complement to conventional medical care or as an alternative.  I work with people experiencing a range of health problems, including, but not limited to:

-      Allergies,

¨       Women’s Health—menopausal concerns,  infertility, PMS etc.

¨       Headaches and migraines

¨       Eczema and other skin conditions

¨       Immune system issues

¨       Digestive disorders like irritable bowel disorder,  acid reflux, chronic constipation

¨       Depression and Anxiety

¨       Much, much more.

Herbs  can also be used to enhance your overall wellness, helping with stress, fatigue, poor sleep,  low libido, poor concentration and more.

What to expect from your consultation?

Initial consultations last 1 1/2 to 2 hours and includes an extensive conversation about  your history and present concerns. There will be plenty of time to answer any questions you might have.  I utilize traditional techniques like tongue, facial and hand assessment and pulse testing to understand your health issues and create your herbal formula and treatment plan. Your treatment plan  is uniquely tailed to your needs and includes an herbal formula, dietary suggestions tailored to your issues and constitution,  guidance and resources for healing lifestyle changes.

Follow up consultations are approximately 1/2 to 1 hour in length and are scheduled approximately one month after the initial consultation.  A typical course of treatment is three visits.  one-month rounds of herbal remedies.  Treatment then continues on an as-needed basis as determined by you.

Location: I see clients in my home which is located in St. Paul’s Cathedral Hill area, easy to find, with ample parking.

Remedies: You will leave each appointment with handmade, ethically wildcrafted or organically grown herbal remedies formulated for your unique needs.
